Dumplings

'Dumplings' is not only a piece done for my Sequential Arts class, but also a dedication to one of my best memories with my grandmother from my childhood when I would attempt to help her in making dumplings. This piece elevates that memory, especially with the final panel where I tried to use a three point perspective to make my grandmother look heavenly when she serves me a dumpling for a taste test. Inspired by the unique art style of Enrique Fernandez, I attempted to capture the essence of that memory mixed with the joys of childhood and a youthful vibe like that of children's storybooks and it was a lot of fun to create.
